1. Binge watched all 10 episodes in two days. I was kind of hoping for a less toxic environment after the backlash of the original show… but nope the producers still went for drama and controversy and child exploitation. It all feels too familiar.

   The girls are likable enough, and the moms are stereotypical dance moms as usual. Glo seemed fine at first but then the favoritism and toxicity began to show and I began to wonder if there is a sane dance teacher on this planet. Less offensive remarks, probably, but I wouldn’t say her words are “tough love”, either. It’s crazy how after ten years the culture of competitive dance is still like this.

   I enjoyed watching it (great job producers, the suspense worked), but please don’t make a next season. Not good for children’s mental health. In fact in this time in history I’m surprised that this is still airing.
